Health Care

ITN has a Medical Office, located in the Unit of Radiological Protection and Safety (URPS), having as responsible a doctor with the valences required to make face to the different areas carried on. This cabinet belongs to the Nucleus of Hygiene, Safety and Occupational Health as internal Ruling CD/ITN nº 8/2008.

Areas of Activity of the Medical Office

"Specialized" Medicine of the Work: To monitors workers submitted to ionizing radiations (Rs.Is.) and to act in case of incident or accident with Rs.Is.
Preventive Medicine: It aims at the maintenance of "general sanitary good condition" of the employees.
Curative Medicine: It aims at the medical treatment of eventual pathologies, that can affect workers of the Campus of Sacavém.

Can be made personally or by telephone (ext. 6360).

Working Hours

Medical Consultations: 3ª, 4ª and 5ª (11h00 -12h30; 14h30 - 17h00).
Office hours: all week (10h00 - 17h00).
