Main Scientific
Areas of Research
-
The main scientific activities have been the investigation of
structure/properties relations in synthetic and natural materials,
namely mixed conductor oxides for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and electrocatalysis;
magnetic characterization of intermetallic compounds with d and f
elements and of multifunctional molecular-based materials; chemical
reactivity of mineral phases.
- Being responsible for the Mössbauer Spectroscopy
Infrastructure of ITN he has implemented the application of this technique in
the field of Material Sciences and Earth Sciences in order to meet the
requirements of ITN research as well as to support other national or foreign
research institutions in the frame of joint research projects.
