  • R&D in the field of radiobiology: implementation and validation of laboratory techniques (Micronuclei assay, Comet assay and gama-H2AX) for the quantification of biological effects induced by radiation in cell cultures.
  • Study of the temporal and spatial distribution of bystander effects induced by low doses of radiation.
  • Development and validation of biophysical models to study the biological effects of radiation.
  • Application of Monte Carlo methods to dosimetry studies.
